Burford Holly Shrub



Burford Holly is a beautiful, salt-tolerant ornamental. The Burford Holly is a very adaptable, sturdy shrub. It is looks distinguished year-round and is useful for hedges and borders. Those trimming or shaping this species should be careful because of the sharp points on the ends of the leaves.

Leaves
Burford Holly has glossy, evergreen leaves with a sharp point at tip and possibly two points on either side.
Flowers
White, creamy inconspicuous flowers appear in spring.
Fruit
Burford Holly has showy, red, berries that last into spring. 
Bark
The bark is gray,green and the branches  do not break easily.
Propagation
Propagates from cuttings
