ChasmantheIs a genus of flowering plants in the iris family which originate from South Africa. This plant will naturalize well here in south Texas. The dark green grass like foliage is highly attractive, and it accentuates the spikes of orange or yellow flowers that appear in the spring. Plant in areas receiving half to full day of sun, in rich, well drained soil.
