Mints are aromatic, almost exclusively perennial herb. Leaf colors range from dark green and gray-green to purple, blue, and sometimes pale yellow. The flowers are white to purple .Mints are fragrant to the touch so plant them in areas where you will brush up against them and step on them to release their oils. Harvests mints and add them to tossed salads, salad dressing fruit salads, drinks (from ice tea to Mojitos), Asian and Greek dishes and other noveau cuisine. There is a wide variety of mint such as, spearmint, peppermint, chocolate mint, Kentucky colonel, apple and pineapple mints, lemon balm and many more. Mint is easy to grow but spreads very quickly so pot culture is usually recommended.
