Asparagus “Ferns” is a group of tough hardy landscape plants that can be grown in the landscape, in pots or hanging baskets. They are called ferns but they are not true ferns since they do flower and make seed. The most common and familiar is the Asparagus springeri which can grow in the shade, sun or dry conditions this is a tough versatile plant. Some other popular plants are the Foxtail fern, Asparagus Plumosus and the Ming Fern which is ideal for flower arranging.
