Lady Bugs

Lady bugs are not only adorable beetles, they are our gardening partners. Lady bugs and their larvae consume Huge number of insects, especially aphids, in our gardens. Aphids are perhaps the best food source for beneficial insects but when you spray to kill them you also kill beneficial insects (including lady bugs) which control all of the damaging pests we encounter. Aphids can damage some plants but its best to spray them off with a strong stream of water rather than treating them with a pesticide. Then release more ladybugs to do your work.
